"There is nothing truer in this world than the love of a good dog" -Mira Grant
Maverick wasn’t just a therapy dog—he’s the heart behind our practice.
From the beginning, Maverick had a natural ability to connect with people in a way that words sometimes can’t. With his calm presence, gentle nature, and intuitive sense of when someone needs comfort, he quickly became more than a companion. He became a source of safety. Whether it was resting his head beside someone during a difficult moment or simply sitting quietly in the room, Maverick created a space where people felt seen, grounded, and at ease.
His impact didn’t go unnoticed. Clients who struggled to open up found themselves talking more freely with Maverick nearby. Moments of anxiety softened. Laughter came easier. And healing, in its own time, felt more possible.
Maverick’s presence inspired us to build a practice centered on that same philosophy: that healing doesn’t always start with words, it starts with feeling safe. Our approach is rooted in compassion, connection, and meeting people exactly where they are. Just like Maverick, we believe in showing up with patience, warmth, and consistency.
He reminded us every day that sometimes the most powerful part of therapy is simply not feeling alone.

Following in Maverick's footsteps, are his two packmates, Finn and Flash. You may see one of them from time-to-time, bringing a similar intuition to the Maverick office.
